It is with immense pleasure that I, on behalf of China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA), extend my warmest welcome to you all for the 2026 FIATA RAP Field Meeting in Tianjin.

Tianjin, a dynamic coastal trade and logistics hub, perfectly symbolizes our interconnected global industry. As an association member of FIATA, CIFA has long valued collaboration with global peers. Representing over 6,000 Chinese enterprises via nearly 800 direct members, we are dedicated to advancing the freight forwarding profession.

Positioned as one of China’s maritime gateways, Tianjin continues to strengthen its role in regional and global supply chains. With its dynamic port infrastructure and close integration with key economic corridors, the city offers a fitting setting for forward-looking discussions on the evolution of logistics across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

This Field Meeting will bring together our regional community to reflect on shared priorities, exchange practical perspectives, and engage in conversations that matter to freight forwarders today. As supply chains continue to adapt to shifting economic conditions and operational demands, the need for coordination, efficiency, and long-term resilience remains at the forefront of our work.
